Review of Vanishing on 7th Street (2010) by Annette M — 23 May 2011
Imagine life as you know it ending abruptly in one night. People are missing. Clothes are all over the place, cars are crashed, but there are no signs of life. You meet up with less than a handful of survivors, and discover the only thing that can protect you from the darkness and it's whispering shadows is light.
The only problem is that all electricity has stopped, batteries won't last, and the days are getting shorter. This flm begins like the 80s cult film "Night of the Comet", but is an entirely different story.
Excellent in the chills and creepiness departments, while capturing the personal elements of the survivors, who are very easy for the audience to bond with.
