A sort of mixed pleasure, (and a guilty one at that), the only things that really sustain Van Helsing despite its ridiculous plotting and acting is the entertainment value that comes from fun over the top action and the overacting of characters like Dracula, Frankenstein, and of course the Oscar-worthy performance of Igor.
