Two words sum this up - authentic and brutal. Massive attention to detail, helped by filming entirely on location in Tasmania - which hasn't changed much in 180 years! - and a great score add to the mood and circumstances of what the escapees are going through.
Really quite riveting and disturbing - moreso because it's true!
