Review of Vampyros Lesbos (1971) by Mark G — 11 Nov 2007
Gibberish of the highest order - Jesus Franco is an acquired taste at the best of times and here is no different.
Worth seeing to study the strange Iberian locations and architecture as well as the typically flamboyant early '70s fashions. It also features the glacial beauty of Soledad Miranda and a odd little soundtrack BUT that is all.
A film that cn be quite easily watched on fast forward.
