Review of Vampire's Kiss (1989) by Astrid A — 19 Dec 2008

I am torn about how good this movie is. Going into it I had no idea what it was about, and by the end I still wasn't quite sure. Nicolas Cage's acting is amazingly eccentric 'there she is!' and such scenes are a hilarious pleasure, but the director did not do a good enough job of establishing the vampire as an imaginary character.

It is not until the end that this becomes clear. Still, the over the top acting, and crazy scenes make this fun to watch if you have the time.
