Review of Vampire Circus (1972) by Dustin I — 01 Nov 2013
Delightfully lurid Hammer Horror film about a traveling circus led by a vampire intent upon avenging the murder of his cousin by terrorizing a small Serbian village. This film is one of the few good films put out during Hammer's waining year in the early 70s.
One interesting note, David Prowse, who later played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy, appears in a non-speaking role as the circus strongman.
