Review of Valley of the Dolls (1967) by Berkeley R — 24 Feb 2009
Having grown up watching Patty Duke on Nick at Nite (back when it was cool and had shows like that and Doby Gillis, Donna Reed, F Troop, My Three Sons, etc) it was shocking to see Patty take the turn that her character took in this film adaptation of Jaqueline Susann's novel. All of the actresses are especially great -- campy or not.
