Review of Valley of the Dolls (1967) by Chloe ? — 11 Jul 2007

This is such a camp movie, but I have to admit, I enjoyed it. I think that the best part, for me, was Sharon Tate's beautiful performance in this, it was really touching. Barbara Parkins was okay, but was it just me or did her and Lyon remind you of something from a 40s war movie? And Patty Duke as Neely, what to say, was pretty alright, I thought.

I have to admit, some lines were cheesy & some were just dripping with overacting, but overall I enjoyed this movie, and the theme song is gorgeous.
