I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who thought this was boring, incomprehensible and melodramatic. Barbara Parkins and Patty Duke look so similar, I had to try as hard as possible to understand their story lines.
There are memorable moments, but they are overtaken by obnoxious song-narration. "Gotta get off, gotta get off this merry-go-round!" Shut it! It drove me a little nuts, but I can see why it's a cult classic.
