"Like totally tubular!" I always wondered were such dialect became so popular, and now I know! It came from 1983's "Valley Girl", starring a bunch of people you don't know and *gag* Nicholas Cage! :D haha It was definitely cheesy and stupid.
But it's a classic, and I did somewhat enjoy it. I love watching "older" films and getting a taste of what the culture was back then. The style, the fads, the lingo, you know what I mean! So, it was interesting to watch.
..but will I ever watch it again? Absolutely not! ;).
