A missed opportunity. This film could have wonderfully probed the robust and emotional ethical terrain of what it meant to be a Nazi going against the Nazis, yet "Valkyrie" manages to say shockingly little other than: there were Germans who didn't like what Hitler was up to and they felt Hitler needed to go.
