A handsomely produced and consistently gripping political thriller with stand-out performances from its top cast. Those unfamiliar with the finer details of the subject matter and the key participants involved may struggle to keep up, and those who know it all too well may be left unsatisfied.
It's not the easiest story to depict on screen, but Bryan Singer and team give it a fair go.
