Admittedly not for everybody, but if you are in anyway interested in European history and/or religion, you need to see this film. I have always enjoyed learning about these two topics and the film really does take an intelligent stance.
Granted, it is almost impossible to decipher meaning if you know nothing of what it is trying to say. This makes the film's appeal limited as most people are not going to want to research it. However, given the importance of the topic, it is a journey well worth taking.
Without a doubt the most intellectually stimulating film to come out in years.
