This movie is like being taken out of time and placed in the past with the vikings. I don't know what it is about this film that is so mesmerizing, but it probably has something to do with the images and cinematography.
It is beautiful. This is a SLOW film, but it is uncompromising in its brutality and not shy about what it is.
