Review of Valerie and Her Week of Wonders (1970) by Burqa B — 23 Oct 2007
A bit sledgehammery on the symbolism and psychoanalytic themes but then this is the 70's and as properly surrealistic films go it fits the bill. Nicely shot and atmosphere but prefer The Company of Wolves for similar themes of sexuality, gender politics and twisted fairy tales.
