Review of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017) by Moore S — 06 Dec 2017
I had the movie since it's Blu-ray release and just now got a chance to watch it. My girlfriend and myself thought it was the closest to a Mass Effect movie we would get and thus the only reason why I purchased it in the first place.
My job kept me from seeing it in the theater and I really wish I had of this movie is actually quite excellent, and though derivative at times it is an enjoyable story. We meet with establish characters they already have a history together they don't exactly explain that history or go into flashbacks of doing so the only flashback in the movie deals with the main plot point in it.
I would say that most people should actually give this movie a watch and have an open mind while doing so. it is clever and how the narrative is written.
