Review of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017) by Mayank A — 16 Dec 2017
A visual treat with the many cool aliens and environment designs, some of the action sequences are original and well thought of, but as the saying go all that a glitter is not gold. The movie lacks story depth, it's simple and straightforward.
The characterizations are weak, the casting of young actors as super agents, acting casual and delivering cheesy dialogue may work if it were an episode on Disney channel, but doesn't work for the big screen.
