Great film! I do not agree that ideas were taken from Avatar film.
As opposite I thinks this is a non conventional way to show a story; the character play is volontaray 'underplayed' for natural feeling.
Not to be compared to the comics which are great too; I thinks this is inspiration for the chartacters and universe, as the story is an original one.
I love the universe, all work that have been done on it.
I can admit this is not a masterpiece, but we had great moments of pleasure for the eyes and emotion during that film.
I am sad about all these negative opinion that will probably avoid to have another film with Laureline&Valerian.
