Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets was easily the most beautiful films I have ever seen. With beyond incredible special effects and a great performance by Cara Delevingne, Valerian is a great action film.
Yes, it is a little slow and confusing at times, but with the surprisingly moving addition of Rihanna as Bubble and the thrilling ending, Valerian was hard for me not to enjoy. If I thought one thing was especially disappointing, it was Dane DeHaan's performance which was, at certain times, quite dull.
The writing is not the best, but overall, this movie is funny and very enjoyable. 90%.
