Valerian does not deserve all the negativity it is currently receiving. The movie had a good story, the actors were not great, but they were good, and the visuals were awesome. Character development was lacking bordering on creepy from the countless times guy flirt with the leading female.
It was a fun experience with great visuals and that's good enough for me. Noone said it was going to be a shakesperean space opera.
