With such a steller cast it is a shame this film was what it was. Totally predictable, poorly told and even painful to watch in some instances - just because it was put together in a way that has been done a 100 times before in much better ways. I am baffled as to why most of the cast agreed to be in this film, I really am. Don't get me wrong, some of the performances are flawless - Jamie Foxx, Jessica Biel, Anne Hathaway, Topher Grace and Shirley MacLaine to name but a few - but in some ways that is what makes this film so much worse. They had the potential to do something amazing with this, and instead it became just another easy to forget rom-com that was far too sugary sweet. And even the parts in which the film tried to be original and to fool you were painfully obvious - I guessed pretty much how each character would end up being related to the other long before the end.

This film line has been done to do, a 100 times before, and it has been done so much better - from a cast like this it shouldn't have left so little to be desired.
