They seriously werenâ(TM)t kidding about the all star cast thing: Jessica Alba, Kathy Bates, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Hector Elizondo, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Topher Grace, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, Taylor Lautner, George Lopez, Shirley Maclaine, Emma Roberts, Julia Roberts, Taylor Swift.
I mean holy crap. All of these actors were great. Well, honestly, except for Taylor Swift. She is a singer. It should stay that way. She just honestly wasnâ(TM)t up to par with anyone she did scenes with.
And her making out with Taylor Lautner while one of her own songs is playing in the background? I couldnâ(TM)t take it. Besides those little things though, this was quite honestly the best romantic comedy I have seen in a long time.
It was quick moving. It was adorable. Yes, some say that all of the story lines are from other over used romantic comedies. But honestly, I think that was the best part. The storylines that normally took two hours and could get boring had to be condensed, so that made them better, in my opinion.
Yes, some of the story lines were predictable, but there were a few that I was really surprised about, and one whose ending actually made me tear up. Whoever is the writer is a freaking genius. The way they intertwined all of the characters is simply brilliant.
Itâ(TM)s like a massive game of six degrees of separation. So, if youâ(TM)re a lover of romcoms, give this one a chance.
