To put it simply Vacation is a funny movie that easily stands on it's own two feet as a sequel to the original. It pays homage to the original throughout the run-time, but there are plenty of new gags for the modern generation to enjoy.
There some genuine moments of comedy gold in this movie and it is definitely worth seeing if have a soft spot for the original film or comedy in general.
