What I wanted was for this movie to be funny. I wanted to see the hilarious legendary franchise rebooted for a new generation, keeping the integrity of the original. Nothing. I may have given one or two pity laughs because I felt sorry for it.
Did it need all the F-bombs and needless gross, dark-humour? No. It needed someone else to write it and direct it. Ed Helms and Christina Applegate were cast well. Everything else was a failure.
