Review of Vacation (2015) by Alex S — 01 Jul 2016
I have to admit, it actually wasn't as bad as I expected, it's definitely as enjoyable as the original Vacation film.
It's a shame that the film's trailer revealed that Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo were going to reprise their roles from the original films in a cameo because it would of been nice to experience that the first time in the film.
Ed Helms actually did a good job at taking over the Vacation lead as Rusty, who was seen before in the previous films as a teenager. The film also had some nice homages to the original film which didn't seem as forced as most reboots try when to impress the audience.
Although the humour is a lot more crude than the original, it didn't ruin it.
