Review of V/H/S: Viral (2014) by Brett H — 30 Oct 2014

Being a big fan of the VHS series, I was very excited about this one. And so after watching I ended up being quite disappointing because it felt like a big let down compared to its two previous entries, but also it didn't felt that connected to the whole VHS series, but instead it reminded me a little to the ABC's of Death anthology. It's not that the stories were bad, but simply they weren't scary or that interesting, aside from two of the four stories, the better ones were "Dante the Great" and "Parallel Monsters" which the more interesting and creative ones. But aside from that the whole movie looked really nice and everything looked great, but the whole content of the stories weren't on par with the VHS series, and I also I was pretty bummed that they axed one of the shorts because it seemed interesting and promising, hopefully this isn't the last one on the series and the shorts improve for the next time.
