Better than its predecessor, but that doesn't mean it's good. Very uneven from story to story and, although the linking narrative is definitely stronger here, there aren't many scares. Overall, it still feels like an experiment in POV filming and while there are some interesting techniques and effects, the technical aspects are certainly not enough to carry the film or keep you distracted from the overall lack of substance.
