Disturbing Found Footage Part II -.
This sequel to the 2012 film 'V/H/S' again features a series of freaky found-footage, filmed from a inplanted eye camera to a cam attached to a dog. A largerly different group of directors got involved to take this new franchise to the next level. With more gore and more absurd storylines, this 'V/H/S 2' got a better reception with critics and beats its predecessor with reviews. I agree that the quality beats the first film and they tried to really think outside the box, however, I didn't like all of the footage. 'A ride in the Park' was cheesy in comparrison to 'Safe Haven' or 'Slumber Party Alien Abduction'. Maybe my expectations were a big to high...
When Larry and Ayesha, two private investigators who are searching for a young college student, break into a house, they stumble upon a set of VCRs and televisions. While Larry looks around, the girl begins to watch the VHS tapes. On it she follows the story of a man that has a camera in his eye, which was implanted after an accident took his sight. After leaving the hospital the guy goes home and starts to see awful things. Is he going insane or does his new eye got something to do with it? It's only the first of the many disturbing videotapes that are inside the missing student's house...
