The first VHS easily became one of my favorite found footage horror movies, not because it was amazing, but because it was original, intriguing, and most importantly, scary, so I went into VHS 2 with high hopes, and I got pretty much what I wanted.
It improved upon the original´s premise, and still told some very interesting stories, even after the sloppy beggining. The movie ramped up in a very unexpected way, and its that kind of risk and creativity that makes this movie stand out from the mediocre bunch.
