Review of V for Vendetta (2006) by Mick T — 24 May 2014
Enjoyable and pointed enough to make its point without forcing its ideas down your throat. In light of the current uproar surrounding the NSA in the USA and Cameron's policies of following the law when it suits and be damned when it doesn't in the UK, this shouts loud its points.
How far do our governments go to hide their shadowy aims and methods? Maybe not this far. But are we sure? It's a movie that is based on a comic book but one that is currently more than a little pertinent.
Its points shout loud and shout well. More than worth a watch.
