Review of Us (2019) by Alsethe2Nd — 28 May 2019

I thought this movie was overall great on the first watch, leaving you with lingering thoughts, however the rules of the world were not true set in stone leaving plot holes and seemingly the rules only applied at times where the main characters needed it.

The plot twist was greatly played out, however made some earlier scenes confusing and incorrect (although it may align in a second watch through) other than that the movie was generally good from the eerie music and well thought out camera angles (for most of the film) the movie although not scary brought tension and a sense of curiosity to the watcher.

Overall if you are looking for a scary and adrenaline rush film this definitely isn't for you, but if you are looking for an intriguing and tension filled film requiring you to think and figure out what is going on, I definitely recommend you give this one a try.
