I generally don't like so-called horror films and I was hesitant to go see this one. I shouldn't have been, not on that account. There wasn't a single moment in the film that made me jump in my seat. It's bloody as can be, but not scary.

I should have stayed home, though, because it's incomprehensible and not entertaining. A film like "The Matrix" is intellectually challenging, as well as immensely entertaining. You walk away wondering if you could be living in that kind of reality. Philosophers write books about it. "Us" isn't like that at all. The world of "Us" is totally imaginary, impossible and makes no sense.
