Review of Urban Legends: Bloody Mary (2005) by Georgia C — 17 Jan 2008
The 3rd and final(to date anyway)teen horror from the Urban Legend series. The target audience was most definately teenagers; there are many references to drink and drugs.
One scene takes the tanning booth bit from I Still Know What You Did Last Summer to an extreme new level. The first appearance of 'Bloody Mary' is very cheesy, so much more could have been done with it. The majority of deaths in this ghostly slasher were pretty poor.
One scene I did find disturbing, as anyone with phobia would, was the spider scene.
The music was used effectively, and I lked how Mary had her own 'thme' song, so you knew when she was coming.
Watchable, but not very enjoyable. It did, however, pick up towards the end. Out of the Urban Legend Trilogy, this is the worst.
