Review of Urban Legends: Bloody Mary (2005) by Dave J — 08 Feb 2012
To me, one of the biggest crimes a horror movie can commit is when it calls itself a sequel or part of a series, but has nothing to do with the original film. This movie does that. And to top it off, it also rips off scenes from several other movies, most famously the tanning bed scene from one of the Final Destination installments.
But despite that, this is actually fairly entertaining. I really like Kate Mara, and her appeal lends to the cheesiness of it all. This movie is pretty dumb, but actually kind of enjoyable.
