I had never heard of this movie, thus I had no expectations. Ultimately, this film met those expectations with a well-worn story that checks the boxes & uses all the cliches. While suffering through this film, I could not help but think that this movie stars a poor man's Tom Hardy in a poor man's version of "Venom" merely months before the latter film's release.

There was no edge-of-seat thrill, no surprises or gasps, no sadness or tears, & absolutely no joy or excitement. Usually, I apply a basic standard of whether or not a movie makes me feel something... anything at all. Honestly, if I apply such criteria to this movie, I have to admit that I felt a deep sense of shame & embarassment while also finding myself laughing and shaking my head at completely inappropriate moments.
