Review of Up the Junction (1968) by Andrew S — 03 Mar 2009
This has a few flaws, it's slightly cliched as borrows elements (such as the back street aborton) from better movies such as 'Alfie'. While you never seem to get to know and understand the main character.
That said, this is very well acted (I'm suprised that Adrienne Posta never had a better career as she steals this movie) and the score by Manfred Mann is first rate.
