Review of Up in the Air (2009) by Julia L — 25 Jul 2012
An airborne drama of the most satisfying kind. With its compelling performance by George Clooney, as a man, who specifies in firing other people, but is at odds with his own emotionally unstable life. While he travels for most of the year, he isn't able to find a place, which he would call home.
Yet, at one specific moment he meets a woman, who will eventually turn his crazy high-flying life upside down. Jason Reitman created a great script, and directed it in a very smart way. Beautiful soundtrack only adds up to this nearly flawless entertainment.
A smart exploration of one man's journey up in the air, finally ending down on the ground.
