'Up in the Air' may not sound exciting on the surface but it integrates romantic,comedic and dramatic elements smoothly and offers thoughtful comments on life philosophy. I like that it doesn't take itself too seriously and it is helped by the casting of Anna Kendrick who naturally falls into the role of Clooney's new ambitious yet flustered colleague.
Does not serve as substantial entertainment but those looking for two hours to fly by can't go wrong here.
