Review of Up in the Air (2009) by Maymay A — 09 Apr 2012
From the moment I knew that this film existed, I readily became interested to see it. One of my biggest dreams was to travel, to live a life on the road while I'm still young enough to do it. I also don't want to die alone. I'm going to have a settled life after all the adventures. I'll never be young forever. It's like I'm having both Natalie Keener and Ryan Bingham inside.
The film was really smart and well-crafted. I liked it from start to finish. The cast was great. Pretty good direction and screenplay, too. It's really worth the best picture nomination. I like the scenes where he packs his suitcase and makes his way through the airport. Anyway, I liked it the way I liked (500) Days of Summer. See, Natalie here is Tom Hansen and Ryan as Summer Finn. Natalie believes in true love, romance and stuff. While Ryan doesn't want commitments. Alex is the female counterpart of Ryan. It's like having two Summer Finn's here.
Every person has a story. It may not turn out as you planned it to be, but it would surely be the best one can get.
I'm glad I saw this. Really remarkable.
