Review of Up in the Air (2009) by Nick L — 28 Sep 2015
I'm the first to admit it's flawed, but there's still a lot to like especially the way Reitman uses misdirection for so much of the movie. First seeming to fetishize the modern landscapes the characters inhabit, only to confirm that they are as empty and bland as the B.
S. philosophies they all profess. Secondly he teases a predictable romcom ending only to completely pull the rug out from underneath the audience.
