Review of Up (2009) by Hawk _ — 04 Jan 2016

While the concept is not as tightly contained as most Pixar films made up to that point. The film makes up for in pure weirdness. A lot of the film involves talking dogs- but these dogs are realistic looking and only speak English thanks to a translation device attached to them-which is an interesting spin on things.

I liked the juxtaposition between the realistic and fantastical here. Overall a very solid output by Pixar.
