Review of Untraceable (2008) by Grëg W — 19 Apr 2010
An above average thriller that is actually original for once, despite the predictable nature of it. the plot involves a murderer (joseph cross) who kills people using the internet. he kidnaps someone, puts them in a deadly situation, and promotes the murder over a website.
depending on how many hits the site gets determines on how fast the victim will die. diane ladd plays an FBI agent in the cyber crimes division who is the main detective on the case. her partner is played by colin hanks, who unfortunately becomes a victim to the killer later in the movie.
the movie itself is pretty predictable unfortunately, as you expect most of what is going to happen, even the ending. its worth a rental if you're really into this kind of film, though.
