Review of Untraceable (2008) by Robert H — 07 Mar 2013
A decent thriller with aspect of the torture porn genre thrown in but it's not so much a who dunnit as people seem to be able to figure this one out pretty quickly.
Despite a few misteps in revealing the killer too quickly, the rest of the film tends to work for me. Diane Lane is truly underrated in my opinion as I tend to like a lot of what she does including this.
Not the best thriller out there but I did enjoy the combination of viceral horror mixed with the more traditional police investigation (I loved Seven) even if the film is a little too "clean" looking for the subject matter.
