Review of Unthinkable (2007) by Wes S — 21 Mar 2012
This is a very controversial political thriller that raises some sensitive questions about subjects like guantanamo bay and human rights violations in light of terrorism. Carrie-Anne Moss, & Samuel L.
Jackson are great at their characters who hold strong opinions both for and against torture for the sake of saving lives of American civilians. Jackson plays an interrogator who is brought in when there is a terrorist threat at several locations in the US, and Michael Sheen gives a killer performance as the terrorist.
It's a good movie that definitely has the potential to piss off more than a few people with it's sensitive plot, and it is a tug-of-war between the three protagonists who hold firm to their political and ethical beliefs.
