Some say the movie lack of tension at the early stages but I don't really agree with that. I just see this thriller has been filmed like the Saw series that deploys sick to watch scenes to attract audiences eye balls. I did not see this movie is deep enough to discuss any moral issues that connect to the war on terror.

I think both Michael Sheen (plays Mr. Younger the terrorist) and Carrie-Anne Moss (plays FBI Agent Helen Brody) are doing okay in the movie. The movie does gave Carrie-Anne Moss opportunities to shows her acting skill rather than playing a should be superficial Trinity in the Matrix series.

Sam Jackson plays H, a suppose to be relentless and inhuman interrogator. However, there is a part in the movie portray H actually breaks down and cry at some point. Does H suppose to be an experienced relentless and inhuman? Why does he break down and cry? I can see Sam shows he is a great actor to play this part and that may impress a lot of audience of this movie. I had a feeling that the part of H breaks down and cry is a scene for Sam to show off his acting skills rather then the part of plot that make sense.

Personally, I just think Sam is too warm hearted and deep to be an interrogator. Sam is a bit over-qualified to act in Unthinkable but I guess many people would not agree with me. Probably because Samuel L. Jackson is already the soul of this movie and is without him, the movie is very likely to be Unwatchable.
