Review of Unpregnant (2020) by Anniebananny — 15 Apr 2021
Unpregnant is a great story that plucks the heartstrings in all the right places. It's funny, heart-warming, frustrating and confusing all at the same time. The road trip trope is not a new one, but it's well executed here by an entertaining cast of diverse characters.
One of the few movies I can call a teen flick while also being worthwhile. People may give it negative reviews because they're blinded by their own ideals, but don't let them fool you. Unpregnant is a wise, well-thought-out story that covers all sides of the conversation, and wakens viewers to the importance of available abortion care without shoving an agenda down their throats.
