I can't believe they made this movie and fucked it up so bad. right off the bat I could tell that lighting and a bad script were going not going to bring out the qualities I found good in the first one.

in fact it took me a while to even feel like van damme had been brought back from the dead, he just acted like himself in this one. I was hoping goldberg would've been as ruthless and tough as he was in Santa's Slay ut they just had him as some muscley idiot going around shooting this rediculous, bulky gun.

.. why do they always have these stupid spacey guns these days? I kept falling asleep, but I still think I caught the gist of this disaster of a movie. when I saw the oil barrel type vertical explosions it took another step down.

if you want to direct action, get your fighting, firing and explosions right... for fucks sake! in the end this one box van damme shot at on his way out exploded the length of a football field in front of this building but not getting him was awful, does the military actually just leave a box full of bombs in front of something they want to blow up, especially a building full of super soldiers? I guess it got them this time because the movie ended right after.

if you liked the first one, don't watch this one, I am going to probably watch it again to see what I missed during my nap and big dump I took... though I am sure both those things were a better investment in my time.
