Review of Universal Soldier: Regeneration (2010) by Jason C — 24 Mar 2010
Surprisingly alright, balancing 90's action cheese with some-up-to-date cinematography. Arlovski kicks ass and says very little as the double-hard new version of the UniSol, Van Damme does his washed up routine he perfected in JCVD and Lundgren comes across like an Asda Smart Price version of Brando's Colonel Kurtz in Apocalypse Now with a long cameo and muttering bollocks.
Far from perfect but there are worse ways to spend an hour and a half, especially if you're at an age when you remember Universal Soldier the first time around.
