Review of Universal Soldier: Regeneration (2010) by Per Gunnar J — 15 Nov 2011
Firstly, its called REGENERATION NOT THE NEXT GENERATION. Anyways, yes, I am serious with this rating. It was a simple story and just stayed down to an action flick. A solid one it was . The fight scenes were great and done a lot better than the past films.
I like how they utilized other characters (Arlovski, army guy with big ears) and the focus was not really on Dolph or Jean Claude. The movie was smart to go to direct to DVD because then people expect less and get more and direct to DVD is especially for fans to live in their nostalgia or catch up with some washouts.
I think if Dolph stays in a side role (like he will with expendables) he can have a decent filmography in his future.
