Wow! This movie was intense and insane, creepy and very well crafted, the story twistes in a Fight Club way but with some creepy Rob Zombie feel to it. This is not your typical action movie, nor is it your typical Universal Soldier movie.
In my opinion this is the best of the series and this movie should be seen. Scott Adkins as the new and lead character "John" who give an ok performance, Dolph Lundgren returns as Andrew Scott with a great performance, but what really got me was Jean-Claude Van Damme's performance and change of pace in this film as he returns as Luc Deveraux once again but with a shocking twist to the returning character.
Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning is not just a action movie but will give you a horror/action/syfy/thriller vibe, and the creepy sound effects and visual effects are crazy. The best action movie of this year so far and by far!!!! Highly recommend this movie to anyone, because its very entertaining and shocking and loads of thrills and chills! I didn't expect this one to be so different and entertaining then any of the others from the Universal Soldier series!!!!.
You will not be dissapointed, I promise!!
